Oh, how I LOOOOOOVE living in Louisiana! There is no other place in the world quite like it. Leroy and I are both Louisianians – born & raised! Not only is the state of Louisiana shaped like an “L” – it is in fact the only state that starts with the letter “L”….makes it super easy to select your state in all e-forms ;)! Besides swamps and the best food ever – Louisiana is also known for it’s great music!
Leroy did a FABULOUS job planning Louisiana Culture Night for the Multicultural Programming Office at McNeese State University. You are pretty much guaranteed a good time when you have a fabulous Zydeco band like Rusty Metoyer and the Zydeco Krush in the house! Add some yummy gumbo, potato salad, and bread pudding and you have a perfect Friday evening!
Don’t know how to zydeco? Well that is no problem when you have Harold Guillory in the house to teach you how it’s done!
There was no doubt that everyone in attendance had a fabulous time! I know I did! 🙂
Yea, you know it’s a good event when Josh Ledet from American Idol shows up to check out all the fun! 🙂
It was an absolute pleasure to photograph this event and I’m SOOOO proud of Leroy for all his hard work!
You can see what other events the McNeese Multicultural Programming Office have planned this year here!
